Any suggestions? Although, if you are interested in the era, I would recommend checking out Long Face Games' (David Manley) Cannon, Cross, and Crescent rules on Wargame VaultDave S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02165409020913057971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3120549697097312092.post-32231187050359813402018-02-11T20:10:58.321-08:002018-02-11T20:10:58.321-08:00I just read your Lepanto article. My membership has lapsed and I don't recall--though I think they may have been exempted. $36.00 per model is steep, but actually less than 28mm if you count each ship as a unit.David Sullivanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06229259148925201182noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3120549697097312092.post-34781707079938649632018-01-09T08:13:27.671-08:002018-01-09T08:13:27.671-08:00I'll have to go back and look at the Valiant s...I'll have to go back and look at the Valiant ships. But, like you, I've got a lot going on right now and I'm not sure it is in my gaming budget. If money were no object, I would look at the Old Glory Shipyard 1/300 ships!Dave S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02165409020913057971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3120549697097312092.post-15488231131967010712018-01-08T07:46:38.661-08:002018-01-08T07:46:38.661-08:00Cool. They got me in the spirit, but with all the irons I have in the fire, I haven't brought myself to buying any minis--let alone painting them. I think the old Valiant range is a good option for ships. The price is pretty good. I had some years 'n' years ago and recall them being nice models.David Sullivanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06229259148925201182noreply@blogger.com
