July has proved to be a busy month for me. I was able to spend one Saturday playing in Kevin's miniatures baseball tournament. But between work and family visits, I haven't had much spare time to work on my wargaming projects.
I did see a post on The Miniatures Page (TMP) asking about some 1/600 or 1/700 fishing/crabbing boats and I promised to post some pictures of the Working Boats kit from Loose Cannon Productions. So, here they are:
The kit comes with a dozen boats, the best of which (in my opinion) are the two fishing boats. They really turned out well and can be used in lots of different scenarios.
Things are starting to settle down and my future blog plans include writing a post about the mid-July "Are You a Modern Naval Wargamer" TMP poll, providing a rules review of the "Kiss Me Hardy" rules from Two Fat Lardies, and (hopefully) some gaming posts.
But I'll finish this short entry off with a picture of my miniatures baseball team in my home-made stadium.
