Entrance to the Midway Museum |
We entered through the hanger deck (none of the photos from the hanger deck turned out) and from there it was a short walk up to the flight deck. We decided to take a tour of the island before the line got too long.

Summer is usually a slow time for my hobby work, since I'm typically outside doing yardwork for my wife. But I'm going to try to get some projects going.
Nice photos Dave. I was once on a special sea detail that helped the Midway get underway after an overhaul at Hunter's Point in the San Francisco area.
ReplyDeleteBill, you should take a trip down to San Diego. The Midway is in really good shape and the rest of the town is pretty nice too. We were busy with wedding stuff, but it seemed like there was a lot going on in town.
